Some of the campaign’s most important activities take place after the campaign has ended. This is the time to say “thank you” to department, agency, or installation leadership, campaign workers and donors. Recognition and appreciation build morale and a strong foundation for next year’s campaign. The CFC offers a variety of ways to recognize your department, individual offices, campaign workers, and donors.

Congratulations to Lt. Mayra Hernandez (Offutt Air Force Base), on receiving the 2020 National CFC Hero award! We celebrate you and your contributions to our campaign. Thank you for making our world a better place through your service to our nation and your dedication to helping charities through the CFC.

Congratulations to The Heart of the Midlands CFC on receiving the 2020 National CFC Innovator Award for holding the first ever cross-zone event, where they hosted Federal Employees and their Families across 11 CFC zones, for a "Santa Claus is Zooming to Town" event. They enjoyed Christmas music performed by local non-profit organizations and where GSA Federal Employee, Federal Executive Association (FEA) President, and Heart of the Midlands LFCC Co-Chair Terry Morgan joined as Santa! Santa read a wonderful and inspiring story and listened to every last child who wanted to let Santa know what they wanted for Christmas! This event was so well received, it will become an annual event for our Federal employees and their families. To relive this wonderful event, view on or My CFC Org channel on YouTube.
